About me.

My name is Alex (she/her). I am a Boston-based marketer, specializing in event marketing, brand experience, and community.

Before finding my way to marketing, I spent ~10 years in restaurants and hospitality — not a particularly unique origin story, but ‘surprising and delighting guests’ (or customers), a common mantra in the restaurant world, is an idea or lens I have embraced throughout my career, and that has set me apart.

Over the last 13 years, I’ve helped bring to life over 500 events — including everything from startup panels, brand pop-ups, and free salary negotiation workshops.

My professional journey is eclectic, by design. I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing teams and organizations spanning tech, nonprofit, consulting, and media; and work on some interesting and complex problems.

I have a strong interest in both the creative, customer-centric side of growth, as well as the technical and operational side — a symptom of my years in startups. In addition to the above, I have also led two organizations through CRM migrations and have become a go-to for CRM strategy (always trying to make people’s lives/ work easier).

The thread between all of my work: I want people to feel valued and connected.

Nice to meet you!
